
Dr Deborah Davidson
General Practitioner, Female
Debbie has been associated with Southend Medical Centre for many years and is also a co-owner of the practice. She offers care in all facets of general practice including excisions of skin lesions and other minor procedures.
She has a long-standing interest in all aspects of Women’s Health including the insertion of Mirena IUDs and Implanons
She has a long association with Sandringham Hospital having practiced as a GP Obstetrician. She maintains a regular role in the antenatal clinic and still offers shared antenatal care for pregnant women booked at Sandringham Hospital.
Dr Davidson also has an interest in aged care including the care of residents in local aged care facilities.
Dr David Shap
General Practitioner, Male
David commenced working at Southend Medical Centre in 1993 and is a co-owner of the practice.
He enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Special interests include skin cancer checks, removal of moles, aged care, geriatric medicine, travel medicine and men’s health.
He spends his leisure time Bee keeping.


Dr Alison Zhang
General Practitioner, Female, FRACGP, MBBS (Hons)
Alison graduated from the University of Melbourne and undertook further training at the Austin hospital as well as various medical centres in Melbourne and Gippsland.
She has been at Southend Medical for over 10 years and recently became a co-owner of the practice. Alison enjoys all aspects of general practice and has special interest in women’s health, Children’s health and anti-wrinkle treatment.
She holds further qualifications in medical acupuncture. She also works in medical education at the University of Melbourne. Alison is a mum of four and enjoys walks with her family and their German Shepherd.
Dr Davinia Raja
General Practitioner, Female, MBBS, FRACGP
Davinia has been a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2018. Prior to this, she has worked in various areas of medicine in both Queensland and Victoria.
Her special interests include women’s health, pediatrics, sexual health, and preventative medicine.


Dr Jill Christie
General Practitioner, Female
Dr Jill Christie is a UK-trained General Practitioner who moved to Australia with her family in 2014. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has practiced in both Bayside and on the Mornington Peninsula.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice. Her areas of special interest include family planning and contraception, women’s and children’s health, sexual health, skin cancer medicine and anti-wrinkle treatment.
She is qualified in the insertion and removal of Mirena and Copper intrauterine devices/coils and the Nexplanon contraceptive implant.
Dr Patrick Harbour
General Practitioner, Male BBiomedSc, GradCertSurgSci MD MS FRACGP
Pat hails from the Brighton locality. He studied his undergraduate degree at Monash University and
Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery at the University of Sydney. Since becoming a doctor, Pat has worked across Australia in Emergency Departments before settling in Melbourne where he completed his training in General Practice on the Mornington Peninsula.
He is interested in all things General Practice; including men's health, minor surgical procedures and geriatric care.
Outside of work Pat enjoys spending time with his partner and son, exercising, reading fantasy novels and playing board games.


Dr Jasmine Ark
General Practitioner, Female, MBBS
Jasmine grew up and underwent medical training in Tasmania before moving to Melbourne for her residency and has enjoyed working in Victoria ever since.
She has worked in hospital settings across Tasmania and Victoria. She has begun her training as a General Practitioner, with interests in dermatology/skin, women’s health, pediatrics, and all aspects of general practice.
Danielle Bowman
Dietitian, Female
Danielle is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, passionate about guiding people towards diet and lifestyle choices that bring benefits to their health and wellbeing.
She has a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, both from Deakin University. She has worked in clinical settings, corporate food industry settings and with the CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet.
Areas of interest include general healthy eating, pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol, heart disease and recent heart attack, hypertension, gastro-intestinal conditions including IBD, IBS, coeliac disease, liver disease including fatty liver, diverticular disease, GORD, constipation, weight gain (for undernutrition), weight management and weight loss, nutritional deficiencies.


Steven Wright
Mental Health Nurse, Male
Steven has been working as Mental Health Nurse since 2009, providing assessments, recommendations and ongoing treatment support for his clients.

Fiona Ibbotson
Nurse Practitioner, Female
Fiona is a Registered Division 1 nurse. She has experience in emergency, having worked with the Ambulance Service and at Cabrini Private Emergency. Her special interests are Diabetes Management, childhood immunisations and pap smears.

Melissa Drago
Nurse Practitioner, Female
Melissa has worked at hospitals in Victoria. She joined Southend Medical
Centre as a Practice Nurse. Her special interests are helping in conducting extensive health assessments and in the preparation of Care Plans
